Hundreds celebrated the opening of the new Ed and Gwen Cole STEM Building yesterday.

University President Dr. Baker Pattillo, longtime SFA supporter Ed Cole, and the Board of Regents cut the ceremonial ribbon to mark this momentous occasion.

“Today is a great day,” Cole said.

Dr. Kim Childs, dean of the College of Sciences and Mathematics, said this iconic building “is not the finish line but the beginning,” and “SFA will be a powerhouse in STEM education.”
